Before Speaking as Your True Self at Work | Understand Saturn's Rules
Work Edition | How Can You Use Your Natural Way of Speaking at Work?
This is the work-related branch of our communication series.
Did you choose the right path?
The content in this article may be a little difficult to understand if you haven't read the following articles first, so please check them out before continuing.
What I'm Trying to Achieve
As I mentioned earlier in this series,
my goal is not to teach you how to speak in a way that guarantees success.
Instead, I want to help you discover:
Your natural way of speaking.
Your natural way of expressing yourself.
And from there,
build a way of being that is uniquely yours—
even in the workplace.
That is why I am writing this article.
A Common Misunderstanding
However, there is something important we need to be careful about.
It is the idea that:
"If I follow my stars, I can freely be myself no matter what!"
Before we continue, let's take a closer look at that.
Work Is a Saturnian World
As I explained in this article:
This world is fundamentally built upon Saturnian energy.
The clearest example of this is society itself.
Saturn represents:
Limits.
Boundaries.
Structure.
For example:
You cannot commit crimes.
If you want something, you must pay for it.
If you want to build a house, you must follow the law.
These are all forms of boundaries—rules.
Of course, if taken too far, rules can feel restrictive.
But when functioning properly,
they serve as an important shield that protects society
and keeps the system running.
Work Exists Within Society
The same is true for work.
Every company has its own rules.
You must follow social regulations.
You must manage your time.
Honor agreements.
Fulfill responsibilities.
This is Saturn in action.
In other words,
both society and work operate on Saturn's system.
Therefore:
Saturn = Saturn
The equation holds true.
Work is a Saturnian world.
The Danger of "Just Be Yourself"
Now, within this Saturnian world,
you often hear messages in self-help books such as:
"Just be yourself."
And yes,
there is value in that idea.
However,
taking it too literally can be dangerous.
For example:
"My way of being comes from my zodiac sign, so I should express it exactly as it is—even at work."
That interpretation can easily create problems.
Neptune Alone Cannot Sustain a Workplace
The force that expresses itself through zodiac signs is Neptune.
The flow of the universe.
The direction of the soul.
Your authentic nature.
Those kinds of things.
But work exists in a Saturnian world.
At that point,
we create:
Saturn ≠ Neptune
So what happens?
Neptune begins dissolving Saturn.
Rules disappear.
Order disappears.
The system collapses.
Chaos follows.
That is why Saturn must remain Saturn.
Its structure must remain intact.
So Should We Follow Only Saturn?
Then should we simply obey Saturn and nothing else?
No.
That isn't the answer either.
Imagine pursuing only the perfect Saturnian way of speaking:
Always using flawless formal language.
Speaking like a professional news anchor.
Rejecting every other style of communication.
Taken to the extreme, it becomes:
"The correct way to influence people."
"The correct way to speak to subordinates."
"The correct way to sound like a leader."
Only what the books say is acceptable.
Everything else is wrong.
That sounds pretty suffocating, doesn't it?
Eventually, people begin thinking:
"Why do I speak like this?"
"I messed up my tone again."
"I got criticized again."
"Why am I so bad at this?"
And before long,
they fall into self-hatred.
You're working in order to build a better life.
So why should work become a personal hell?
You may even begin losing sight of life's meaning.
In other words:
Saturn alone isn't enough either.
So What Should We Do?
The answer is actually quite simple.
Express Neptune through Saturn.
That's it.
Let's Use Aries as an Example
Take Aries.
What happens if someone says:
"As long as I follow Neptune, everything will be fine!"
"All I have to do is act like an Aries, right?"
"Got it."
Then they start saying whatever comes to mind,
to anyone,
in any environment.
"That method is outdated."
That doesn't work.
I think most people would agree.
Now let's add Saturn.
The same person might say:
"The current approach may cause the company to stagnate.
Here's why.
Therefore, this is what I propose."
This is still Aries.
The same Aries.
Fresh ideas
The desire to take on challenges
The energy of change
Initiative and momentum
All of those qualities are still there.
The difference is that they have been translated into a form that can function within a Saturnian world.
The Goal: Neptune Expressed Through Saturn
The goal is not to let Neptune overflow without limits.
Nor is it to suppress Neptune and follow only Saturn.
The goal is to take that limitless Neptune energy
and shape it into something that can function within Saturn's world.
That is what I am aiming for.
In other words:
This is not about erasing who you are.
It is about translating who you are into a form that society can understand and work with.
That is the theme of this work edition.
Next Time
Starting next time,
we'll begin exploring your unique way of speaking.
However, some people may find themselves relating to experiences like these:
No matter how hard I try, I never sound mature.
I constantly use the wrong words.
I genuinely try to speak properly, but somehow I still can't do it.
If that sounds familiar,
there's a good chance a powerful force is influencing your communication.
For those people,
I take a completely different approach.
If any of this sounds familiar, check this out.
If none of this applies to you, go here right away.
