Mars Explained #1 | Decide Where to Spend Your Energy First | Energy Allocation Shapes Your Life

Mars Explained #1 | The Subject

In this article, we will explore Mars, the planet that represents motivation and drive.

As always, we will use my original framework: S: Planet (Subject) + V: Sign (Verb) + C: House (Place)

This time, we will focus on: S: Planet (Subject)

What is Mars?

Mars is a “fire” planet.

It represents the energy that moves outward— motivation, action, drive, and even aggression.

It is the force that initiates, pushes forward, and breaks through. In other words, it carries what we call “masculine energy.”

Mars is Consumable Energy

When Mars is activated, action naturally follows.

And at the same time, fatigue comes with it.

Mars is an energy that gets consumed the more you use it.

That’s why it’s important to decide:

  • Where do you spend your energy?

  • Where do you allow yourself to get tired?

Defining the Subject

Here is the definition we will use:

“Where should I focus my energy the most?”

When Mars is treated simply as “motivation,” it often becomes a question of increasing or decreasing it.

But what matters more is:

Where you choose to direct your energy

If you try to give your all to everything, Mars will either burn out or lose direction.

So instead, it’s better to decide:

  • This is where I go all in

  • Everything else, I let flow

Why This Definition?

For naturally action-oriented people, “increasing motivation” might work just fine.

But not everyone operates that way.

That’s why, in this series, we define Mars as:

A tool that determines where your energy goes
