Are You Wearing Yourself Out in Your Relationships?

"It’s important to get along with others."

We’ve all heard about the importance of good relationships a million times over.

Because of this, do you find yourself walking on eggshells to avoid being disliked, constantly reading the room, and catering to others—only to end up feeling drained and exploited?

Today’s topic was inspired by a specific scene in Chapter 38 of the manga ヘタレオオカミと毒舌赤ずきん.

The theme is simple: “Build the defensive walls of your castle so you stop letting others take advantage of you.”

Have Your Defensive Walls Fallen?

Of course, living in society means interacting with people. It’s rarely possible to have everything go exactly our way.

Even so—

  • Saying yes just because you were asked, unable to decline

  • Choosing to endure discomfort just because the other person is struggling

  • Prioritizing others' convenience out of fear of being disliked

  • Thinking, "I ought to do at least this much for them"

  • Taking responsibility for problems that are fundamentally theirs to solve

Don't you think it's wrong to live a life where you constantly sacrifice yourself like this?

When the "defensive walls" protecting your boundary crumble, no matter how kind you are to others, you're the one left exhausted and hurt.

Draw the Line: Identify Your Non-Negotiable Boundary

To stop being treated as a pushover, you need to know your absolute boundary line—the limit where you say, "No further."

That’s why I’ve prepared an astrology article designed to help you discover the non-negotiable boundaries you must protect for your own sake.

If you tend to put everyone else ahead of yourself, take a moment to check where your walls stand!
