■ Venus Series Vol.1 | Defining the Subject
Based on my original grammar structure: S (Subject) + V (Verb) + C (Context/Place), I will explain how to read Venus.
This time, we begin by identifying the Subject.
■ The Symbol of Venus
You’ve probably seen this symbol before:
♀
It represents a woman.
Like this symbol, Venus signifies pleasure, hobbies, art, and love— the desires and impulses that naturally arise within us as we live.
■ How Should We Define the Subject?
Now, how should we define Venus as the Subject (S)?
Many people might expect “love” to be the answer. However, I will not adopt that definition.
Because Venus is not limited to romantic love. It is something far more everyday, far more universal.
It appears in work, in family, and even in solitude. It exists in every area of life.
If we define it as “love,” the subject becomes too narrow.
Also, when it comes to romance, it is often more interesting to read it through asteroids rather than Venus.
■ Not “Joy,” but “Fun”
Then should we define it as “joy”?
That is not wrong. But it is slightly abstract and harder to grasp in real experience.
So instead, we simplify it further.
■ The Subject in This Series
The “fun” in my life is
“That’s fun.” “That’s interesting.”
A feeling that arises instantly— not from logic, but from reaction.
Rather than understanding Venus through grand concepts like happiness or abundance, it is more natural to treat it as this light, immediate response of “fun” and “interesting.”
By noticing and activating these small moments of “fun,” we ultimately bring vitality to our entire life.
■ Summary
The Subject of Venus in this series is:
The “fun” in my life is
This is how we define it.
