What Is God? | Exploring the Concept of God Through Astrology
What Is God? Exploring the Relationship Between God and Neptune
In a previous article,
I explained that
・Saturn = tangible things
・Neptune = intangible things.
Following that line of thought, it would not be entirely incorrect, from an astrological perspective, to simply state:
"God = Neptune."
However, out of respect for those who value different religions, philosophies, and spiritual traditions, I would like to explore this topic a little more deeply.
The World of Saturn and the World of Neptune
Saturn governs things that have form, such as:
The physical body
Matter
Society
Time
Boundaries
Roles and responsibilities
In many ways, most of what we call "reality" falls under Saturn's domain.
Neptune, on the other hand, governs things that are formless, such as:
Dreams
Prayer
The soul
The unconscious mind
Love
Inspiration
These are things we cannot see with our eyes or touch with our hands.
Yet we can undeniably feel their existence.
That is the realm of Neptune.
Which Is God Closer To?
So what about God?
God is generally described as a being that:
Has no physical body
Is not confined to a specific location
Exists beyond time and space
Furthermore, God is often believed to be reachable through prayer and connected to the soul after death.
When we compare these characteristics, it becomes clear that the concept of God is far closer to Neptune than to Saturn.
This is why astrologers have long associated Neptune with ideas such as:
Divinity
Mysticism
Oneness
For Those Who Still Disagree
That said, I understand that some people may not agree.
Some may believe that God is something far more sacred and transcendent than anything that could be explained through a planetary system.
Others may feel that human beings should not have any means of approaching or understanding God at all.
These are valid perspectives.
Everyone is free to hold their own beliefs.
Because of that, this is how I personally organize the concept.
Conclusion
Even now, I believe that from an astrological standpoint, saying:
"God = Neptune"
is not a major problem.
However, when taking various viewpoints into consideration, I find the following expression more fitting.
God is like the ultimate destination that exists beyond Neptune.
It is Neptune.
Without question, it belongs to the Neptunian realm.
But it is the infinitely distant point within that realm—a place so far beyond us that human beings can never fully reach it.
That ultimate point is what I would call God.
If I were to express it as an equation, it might look something like this:
God ≠ Neptune
God = An unbelievably vast, higher-dimensional level of Neptune
Something along those lines.
Once you look at it this way, the implication becomes obvious.
The power of Neptune itself is an engine that human beings can actually work with.
And if we wish to move closer to God, we must:
Understand Neptune
Apply Neptune
Master Neptune
Exactly.
Rather than being God itself, Neptune can be seen as a gateway through which we approach God.
This may only be a supplemental article, but I am talking about something extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemely important here.
Be sure to remember it.
Now that we’ve touched on the topic of “gods,”
I thought I’d take this opportunity to share my own thoughts
on the “shrine fires”
that are currently causing concern in Japan.
It’s a somewhat unconventional perspective—
one that suggests these fires
“might actually benefit Japan.”
While this is just my personal analysis,
I’ve sprinkled various hints throughout the article
that will set the stage for future explanations, so be sure to check it out.
