Why Having 100 Friends Doesn't Make You Happy | The Fundamental Difference Between Numbers and Happiness

Important Note

This article will be extremely difficult to understand unless you have already read:

Please check that article first.

Why Is “Number” Saturn?

The first thing I want you to understand is this:

The concept of number itself belongs to Saturn.

As I explained before, Saturn represents:

  • Things that have form

  • Things that have boundaries

  • Things that exist in physical reality

For example, an apple.

An apple has a shape.

Therefore, it belongs to Saturn.

And we can count apples:

1 apple, 2 apples, 3 apples...

In other words:

If something can be counted, it has form.

If it has form, it belongs to Saturn.

This is where:

Saturn = Numbers

is established.

Neptune Does Not Contain “Numbers”

Now then, there is another realm in this world.

The realm of Neptune.

Let me give you a simple example.

The thing right in front of you:

Air.

Air definitely exists.

But:

  • It has no shape

  • It has no clear boundary

  • It has no frame

It is a perfect example of Neptune.

So here's a question.

Try counting the air.

Can you do it?

Of course not.

Because:

Saturn ≠ Neptune

Therefore, the concept of "number" does not exist within Neptune in the first place.

Can Happiness Be Counted?

Now let's think about something else:

Happiness.

Does happiness have a shape?

Does it have boundaries?

Does it have a frame?

No.

Then can happiness be counted?

No.

Which means happiness belongs to the realm of Neptune.

To summarize:

  • Numbers = Saturn

  • Happiness = Neptune

And:

Saturn ≠ Neptune

Therefore:

Even if you chase numbers,

that alone cannot lead you to happiness.

At this point, the answer is already there.

Then Why Does Following the Stars Bring You Closer to Happiness?

This raises an obvious question.

"If happiness belongs to Neptune, then why does following the stars help people become happy?"

Now we're getting to the interesting part.

Earth Is a Saturnian World

First, look at Earth.

  • There is an ozone layer.

  • There are oceans.

  • There are forests.

  • There is land.

Everything has form.

Everything has boundaries.

Therefore, Earth belongs to Saturn.

(And in both Japanese and English, the words for Earth are deeply connected to the concept of land and soil.)

Human beings are the same.

We have physical bodies.

We have form.

Therefore, humans are also Saturnian.

In other words:

We live in a Saturnian world,

inside Saturnian bodies.

Saturn = Saturn.

Stars Are “The Saturn Closest to Neptune”

Now look toward the universe.

Stars also have form.

Strictly speaking, they too belong to Saturn.

However,

from a human perspective, stars are:

  • Beyond our reach

  • Existing within vague and immeasurable boundaries

  • Located in an almost infinite universe

Because of this, they can be viewed as:

the Saturn closest to Neptune.

That is why stars are Saturnian in form,

while carrying extremely strong Neptunian qualities.

And as I explained previously,

the soul within human beings belongs to Neptune.

So here once again:

Neptune = Neptune.

Why Is Your Birth Chart So Important?

The influence of the stars right now is important too.

It should absolutely be respected.

However, in astrology, the stars at the moment of your birth are considered the most important.

Why?

Why does the moment of birth matter so much?

Think about a newborn baby.

A newborn:

  • Knows nothing about society

  • Knows nothing about common sense

  • Has no title

  • Has no money

  • Has no life experience

In other words,

the Saturnian elements that shape a person

barely exist yet.

The First Stamp on a Blank Sheet of Paper

A newborn baby has not yet completed the frame called:

"self."

They are like a blank sheet of paper.

And because they are much closer to Neptune,

they are also more open to influence from the universe.

That is why

the arrangement of the stars at the exact moment of birth

becomes deeply imprinted as the foundation of that person's life.

This is why astrology uses the moment of birth.

What Is a Horoscope?

A horoscope is simply:

the forces imprinted by the universe,

translated into data that human beings can understand.

That is what a horoscope is.

In this framework:

  • The power of the stars = Neptune

  • The horoscope = Uranus

  • Human application and usage = Saturn

Thus, the system becomes:

Neptune → Uranus → Saturn

A complete chain.

That is why:

We, who are currently living as Saturnian beings,

use the horoscope (Uranus)

to move closer to happiness (Neptune).

This is the reason I use astrology.

Why Chasing Numbers Will Never Create Happiness

Now, remember:

What was happiness?

Neptune.

And what were the stars?

The closest thing to Neptune.

Therefore,

moving in the direction indicated by the stars

means moving closer to Neptune.

And moving closer to Neptune

means moving closer to happiness.

This is why I believe that

trying to improve your relationships by aiming for

"100 friends"

is ultimately pointless.

Numbers belong to Saturn.

Happiness belongs to Neptune.

You're aiming at a completely different destination.

That is the explanation.

So if you only read part of the previous article, make sure to go back and check:

"What kind of suffering would I experience if I seriously tried to make 100 friends?"

Take a look and find out.

Of course, using Neptune—the stars—can help you obtain much more than happiness alone. However, this article focuses specifically on happiness within human relationships, so those topics will have to wait for another time.
