Last time, I explained the concept of the new Midheaven.

I explained that this represents your outer appearance—the side you show in work and society.

I also mentioned that following the energy shown by your outer appearance tends to boost your career luck and social fortune.

Normally, people would jump to the conclusion that they just need to embody this image to succeed, but stop right there.

As I mentioned before, you must not forget the Ascendant.

The Ascendant represents your true self, and it must also be utilized properly.

This time, I’ll explain the Ascendant using the example of Yayoi.

For example, Yayoi’s Ascendant is Aquarius (a pioneer of the new era), and his Midheaven is Sagittarius (a freedom-loving adventurer).

Even if he tries to use his Midheaven for work by going on adventures or having fun,

if he cannot explore new knowledge as an Aquarius, it becomes uninteresting.

And if he doesn’t learn various worlds and knowledge through Sagittarius-style adventures,

his forward-thinking Aquarius Ascendant won’t be handled well, causing him to be seen as eccentric or odd.

This kind of mismatch occurs. Let’s look at another character.

Sumire’s Ascendant is Aries (an energetic child), and her Midheaven is Capricorn (a serious teacher).

Even if she follows her Capricorn Midheaven by valuing rules and achievements, her Aries child self finds it boring.

But if she prioritizes the Aries child too much, she won’t survive in the adult world of society.

This kind of mismatch appears.

You need the Midheaven to navigate society, and the Ascendant to enjoy life authentically.

No matter how much you seek social recognition through the Midheaven, if you ignore your Ascendant—the face of your life—you will lose your individuality and sense of purpose.

That’s why you must not ignore your Ascendant.

However, you might think “Then I’ll just use both,” but it's not that easy.

Because the Ascendant and Midheaven form a certain aspect, making them difficult to handle smoothly.
