If you want to do something about water shortages, you should perform rain dances. If you want to draw closer to God, you should turn to prayer, enlightenment, rituals, and shamans. Instead of seeking immortality, live a life so happy that you can think, “I’d be okay with dying now.” I have separate thoughts on natural disasters like tsunamis, so I’ll set those aside for now.
